An unfortunate reality these days, which every online business faces, is that even emails that confirm a purchase gets sent to a spam folder. Sometimes it's even blocked and never arrives!(Hotmail and Outlook, for example, are notorious for blocking emails.

If the email doesn’t arrive in your regular inbox OR in the spam folder, then:
